Tell Zurghul is an archaeological site in Dhi Qar Governorate. Its ancient name was the cuneiform read as Niĝin. The city god was Nanshe, who had temples there and at nearby Girsu. Tell Zurghul is situated 490 metres northeast of Tall Zar‘al al Atharī.
