Village of Rouses Point

Champlain and Rouses Point are a pair of adjacent villages in Northern New York on the U.S.-Canada border. The villages, 20 miles north of Plattsburgh and 40 miles south of Montreal, are the northernmost in the state of New York.

Fort Montgomery

Fort Montgomery on Lake Champlain is the second of two United States forts built at the northernmost point of the United States part of the lake: a first, unnamed fort had been built on the same site in 1816 but had been disassembled after engineers realised they were technically building on Canadian territory.

Rouses Point station is an Amtrak intercity train station in Rouses Point, New York, served by the single daily round trip of the Adirondack. The station building is a former Delaware and Hudson Railway constructed in 1889, with a one low-level side platform on the east side of the track.

Windmill Point Light

The Windmill Point Light in Vermont is the northernmost lighthouse on Lake Champlain. Extinguished for seventy years, it was reactivated in 2002 to replace the skeleton tower erected next to it.

Alburgh is a village within the town of the same name in Grand Isle County, Vermont, United States. The population was 571 at the 2020 census. The town's name came from the person primarily responsible for chartering the community, Ira Allen. Alburgh is situated 3½ miles east of Village of Rouses Point.
