West Irving station is a Trinity Railway Express commuter rail station in the Bear Creek neighborhood of Irving, Texas. The station is located between President George Bush Turnpike and Belt Line Road, approximately 1+1⁄2 miles south of Airport Freeway. West Irving station is situated 1½ miles northwest of Irving Fire Department Station 5.

Grand Prairie Stadium is a cricket ground and former ballpark in Grand Prairie, Texas. Opened in May 2008, it served as the home stadium of the Texas AirHogs of the American Association of Professional Baseball from 2008 through 2019, and of the USL League Two soccer team Texas United from 2017 to 2019. Grand Prairie Stadium is situated 2½ miles south of Irving Fire Department Station 5.

The station is located at the intersection of Rock Island Road and O'Connor Road in the Irving Heritage District, which includes the Irving Civic Center and the city's historic downtown. Downtown Irving/Heritage Crossing station is situated 2½ miles east of Irving Fire Department Station 5.
