The Santa Ana Observation Tower, better known as the Stone Tower, is an approximately 30 feet tall observation tower located at the summit of Monte del Estado, Santa Ana Peak, at the boundary between the municipalities of San Germán and Maricao, within the Maricao State Forest in southwestern Puerto Rico. Torre de Piedra Viewpoint is situated 4½ km east of Hoconuco Alto.

Maricao is a small mountain town and municipality of Puerto Rico located in the western portion of the Cordillera Central region. The area is home to the Maricao State Forest, popularly known as Monte del Estado, a fish hatchery and numerous paradores and inns housed in former coffee and tobacco plantations.
