Mátra Power Plant, is a lignite fired power plant majority owned by MVM, the Hungarian state owned power company since 2019. It is located in the valley of the Mátra mountains, in Hungary. Mátra Power Plant is situated 120 metres southeast of Visonta Power Plant.

Mátra Solar Power Plant is a large thin-film photovoltaic power system, built on a 30 ha plot of land located in Visonta in Hungary. The solar park has around 72,480 state-of-the-art thin film PV panels for a total nameplate capacity of 16-megawatts, and was finished in November 2015. Mátra Solar Power Plant is situated 1½ km north of Visonta Power Plant.
