Celtic Manor Resort is a golf, spa and leisure hotel and resort in the city of Newport, South East Wales. Owned by Sir Terry Matthews, the resort is located on the south-facing side of Christchurch Hill in eastern Newport, near Junction 24 of the M4 motorway.

Llanwern Golf Club is a golf club based just outside Llanwern at Newport, Wales. It is an 18-hole parkland course and is reputedly one of the oldest in South Wales.

It lies on the eastern side of the River Usk, mostly within the electoral district of Victoria, although some areas traditionally associated with Maindee are in the Beechwood ward. Maindee is situated 2½ miles west of Llanwern.

Magor is a large village in Monmouthshire, south east Wales, about 9 miles west of Chepstow and about 9 miles east of Newport. It lies on the Caldicot Levels beside the Severn Estuary, and is in the community of Magor with Undy. Magor is situated 3½ miles east of Llanwern.
