Woodbridge railway station is on the East Suffolk Line in the east of England, serving the town of Woodbridge, Suffolk. It is 10 miles 19 chains down the line from Ipswich and 79 miles measured from London Liverpool Street; it is situated between Westerfield and Melton.

It is often referred to as "old Martlesham" by locals in order to distinguish this old village from the much more recent Martlesham Heath development to the south, although both form a single administrative parish. Martlesham is situated 2 miles south of Hasketon.

Melton is a village and civil parish in the East Suffolk district, in Suffolk, England, located approximately one mile northeast of Woodbridge. The 2001 census recorded a population of 3,718, the population increasing to 3,741 at the 2011 Census.
