Hawarden Airport, also known as Hawarden Aerodrome, is an airport near Hawarden in Flintshire, Wales, near the border with England and 3.5 NM west southwest of the city of Chester. Hawarden Airport is situated 2½ miles northwest of Dodleston.

Dodleston Castle in Cheshire is a medieval motte-and-bailey castle that was developed from an earlier ringwork It is first recorded in 1277, but may have existed in the 12th century when the manor of Dodleston was held by the Boydel family.
