Llannerch-y-medd

Llannerch-y-medd, sometimes spelt Llanerchymedd, is a small village and community on the Isle of Anglesey in North West Wales. In 2011, it had a population of 1,360, of whom more than 70% were Welsh speaking. It is historically a market town.

St Mary's Church is a medieval church in the town of Llannerch-y-medd, Anglesey, Wales. St Mary's Church is dedicated to Saint Mary. The east doorway in the tower and other parts of the tower probably date to the 12th century.

St Tyfrydog’s Church

St Tyfrydog's Church, Llandyfrydog is a small medieval church, in Llandyfrydog, Anglesey, north Wales. The date of establishment of a church on this site is unknown, but one 19th-century Anglesey historian says that it was about 450.

Llyn Alaw

Llyn Alaw is a man-made reservoir on Anglesey, North Wales, managed by Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. It is a shallow lake and was built in 1966. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a destination for overwintering birds. Llyn Alaw is situated 2 miles northwest of Llannerch-y-medd.

Rhosybol is a village and community in Anglesey, Wales. The community population at the 2011 census was 1,078. Located 2.5 miles south of the town of Amlwch, the village is close to both Llyn Alaw, the largest body of water on the island, and Parys Mountain, the site of the historic copper mines which lies just to the north. Rhosybol is situated 3 miles north of Llannerch-y-medd.
