Pontcysyllte Aqueduct

The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is a navigable aqueduct that carries the Llangollen Canal across the River Dee in the Vale of Llangollen in northeast Wales. The 19-arched stone and cast iron structure is for use by narrowboats and was completed in 1805 having taken ten years to design and build.

Weston Rhyn is a large village and civil parish in Shropshire, England. It lies between the towns of Chirk, in Wales, and Oswestry, in England. The civil parish, which also includes Bronygarth, Pentre-Newydd and a number of small hamlets, had a total population of 2,668 at the 2001 census, rising to 2,850 at the 2011 Census. Weston Rhyn is situated 2½ miles south of Chirk.
