The Church of St Mary the Virgin, Nash is the parish church of the village of Nash, situated about 2 miles south of the city of Newport, Wales. Described as "the cathedral of the moors" by Monmouthshire historian Fred Hando, the large church is medieval in origin, with additions and restorations dating from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Llanwern Golf Club is a golf club based just outside Llanwern at Newport, Wales. It is an 18-hole parkland course and is reputedly one of the oldest in South Wales. Llanwern Golf Club is situated 2½ miles north of Goldcliff.

The Church of St Thomas is the parish church of the village of Redwick, to the south east of the city of Newport, South Wales, Great Britain. A medieval church, Perpendicular in style, and with elements dating from the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, possibly with twelfth-century origins, it was listed Grade I on 3 January 1963. Church of St Thomas, Redwick is situated 2½ miles east of Goldcliff.
