Heathfield is a town in East Sussex, in the High Weald. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Situated near the Kentish border there are also excellent views of the South Downs and the coast in the south and marvellous views towards Mayfield and over Ashdown Forest.

Mayfield and Five Ashes is a civil parish in the High Weald of East Sussex, England. The two villages making up the principal part of the parish lie on the A267 road between Royal Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne: Mayfield, the larger of the two villages, is ten miles south of Royal Tunbridge Wells; with Five Ashes being 2.5 miles further south.
