Pipers Vale is a 19.7 hectare Local Nature Reserve on the southern outskirts of Ipswich in Suffolk. It is owned and managed by Ipswich Borough Council.

Ipswich railway station serves the town of Ipswich, in Suffolk, England. It lies on the Great Eastern Main Line, 68 miles 59 chains down the main line from London Liverpool Street; it is situated between Manningtree to the south and Needham Market to the north. Ipswich Railway Station is situated 2½ miles north of Wherstead.

Ipswich is the county town of Suffolk. The Ipswich Waterfront was once known as the largest and most important dock in the kingdom. Mostly recognised for its football club, it has had new developments such as the Waterfront entertainment district, the University Campus Suffolk and new shopping developments.

Pinewood is a civil parish and electoral ward in the Babergh district of the English county of Suffolk. Whilst not part of the borough, it forms part of the town of Ipswich although part of the parish is separated from it by Belstead Brook, a tributary of the River Orwell.

Holbrook is a village situated close to the northern shore of the estuary of the River Stour, in Suffolk, England. It is located on the Shotley Peninsula in Babergh district, around 5 miles south of the centre of Ipswich. Holbrook is situated 2½ miles south of Wherstead.
