Waen is a sparsely populated community in the , in the county of . It includes the hamlet of Waen Goleugoed. The former civil parish was created in 1896 from the portion of , and lies on the eastern bank of the , 2.7 miles east of , 15.4 miles north west of , 5.1 miles north of and 11.9 miles north of .
