Cheekha Dar, which means Black Tent, is the local Kurdish name for the mountain, located in Kurdistan Region of Iraq, currently thought to be the highest in Iraq. Cheekha Dar is situated 3½ km northeast of Maşīf Kawjar.

Halgurd is the second highest mountain in Iraq, after Cheekha Dar, and the tallest fully within Iraq. Located in Choman district in Northern Erbil Province, Kurdistan Region, Iraq, Halgurd has an elevation of 3,607 metres. Hallgurd mountain is situated 3 km southwest of Maşīf Kawjar.
