Oas is a coastal municipality in the west coast of Albay placed between the city of Ligao and the municipalities of Polangui and Libon accessible via Asian Highway 26. Its shoreline faces Burias Pass.

Polangui is a landlocked municipality of Albay in the northwest quadrant of the province and serves as the gateway via Asian Highway 26. Along with neighboring Libon, it borders Rinconada District of Camarines Sur. Polangui is situated 3½ km north of Mayao.
