Tarnobrzeg is a city in south-eastern Poland, on the east bank of the river Vistula, with 49,419 inhabitants, as of 31 December 2009. Situated in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship since 1999, it had previously been the capital of Tarnobrzeg Voivodeship.

Chmielów is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nowa Dęba, within Tarnobrzeg County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It lies approximately 12 km north-west of Nowa Dęba, 8 km south of Tarnobrzeg, and 59 km north-west of the regional capital Rzeszów. Chmielów is situated 3½ km west of Tarnobrzeg County.
