Adam's Peak is a 2,243-metre-tall conical sacred mountain located in central Sri Lanka. It is well known for the Sri Pada, a 1.8 m rock formation resembling a footprint near the summit whose name is also used for the mountain itself.

Dalhousie, Nallathanniya or Delhousie is a village in Nuwara Eliya District, Sri Lanka. The village is two hours from Hatton city and situated en route to Adam's Peak. The village borrowed its name from a nearby tea estate. Dalhousie is situated 3 km northeast of Samanalagala.
