Ashikaga Gakkō is Japan's oldest standing academic building. It is located in the city of Ashikaga, Tochigi Prefecture, about 70 kilometres north of Tokyo. It was designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1928. Ashikaga Gakkō is situated 500 metres northwest of Ashikaga Station.

Banna-ji is a Buddhist temple of the Shingon sect in the city of Ashikaga, Tochigi Prefecture, in northern Kantō region of Japan. The honzon of the temple is a statue of Dainichi Nyōrai, leading to the temple's nickname of Dainichisama. Banna Temple is situated 720 metres northwest of Ashikaga Station.
