Bahçelievler
Bahçelievler is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 17 km2, and its population is 594,350. It is a large middle class residential suburb of Istanbul, on the European side of the city.Places of Interest

The Sinan Erdem Dome, formerly known as the Ataköy Dome, is a multi-purpose indoor arena that is located in Ataköy, Bakırköy on the European side of Istanbul, Turkey.

Bakırköy railway station is the main railway station in Bakırköy, Istanbul. Located 12.6 km west of Sirkeci station, the station was serviced by Istanbul suburban commuter trains as well as TCDD regional trains to Kapıkule, Çerkezköy and Uzunköprü.

The Historical Peninsula is the oldest part of Istanbul. It's the location of most of its sights, with several ranked as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's on the western, European side of the Bosphorus, with the sea to the south and the inlet of the Golden Horn to the north.

Galata is just north, across the Golden Horn, from the Old City of Istanbul. Further north is Beyoğlu: İstiklal Avenue is its thoroughfare, and adjoining Taksim Square is considered the heart of the city — if it were sensible to speak of a "downtown" for multicentric Istanbul, that would most likely refer to this area.
