On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Gossliwil, Tscheppach, Brügglen, Aetingen, Aetigkofen, Bibern, Hessigkofen, Mühledorf, Küttigkofen, Kyburg-Buchegg merged into the new municipality of Buchegg.
