Thendara station is the Adirondack Scenic Railroad's longest-duration northern terminus, and is near Thendara, New York. It is served by trains heading south to Utica beginning around the month of May each year.

The Enchanted Forest — Water Safari is an amusement park/water park. Owned by Enchanted Parks, it is the largest water park in New York, United States, and is located within Old Forge, in the Adirondack region. Enchanted Forest Water Safari is situated 1½ miles east of Thendara Golf Club.

Thendara is a hamlet and census-designated place in Herkimer County, New York, United States. Thendara is located in the Adirondack Park, in the southern part of the town of Webb, west of Old Forge on Route 28.

Old Forge

Old Forge is a village of about 750 people in the Adirondacks. As one of the western gateway communities of the Adirondack Park, Old Forge forms an extensive business district, primarily directed at tourism especially during the summer months.
