Beach
is located in Cherai on the northern side of Island, a suburb of the city of in the state of , . One of the most visited beaches in the state, it is situated around 25 km from downtown Kochi and 20 km from Cochin International Airport.

The Basilica of Our Lady of Snows, , , is a minor basilica. The basilica decree was issued on 27 August 2012. The raising of the Pallippuram church was officially announced at the conclusion of the silver jubilee celebrations of the diocese on 7 October. is situated 3 km north of Cherai.

Ruins
Pallippuram Fort or is a fort in , Vyppin, district of , south . It was built by Portuguese sailors on 27 September, 1503 using just timber wood, and later renovated in 1505 by replacing timber structure with stone. is situated 3½ km northwest of Cherai.
