Chiang Mai station is a 1st class station and the main railway station of Chiang Mai Province. This station is on the east side of the Ping River in the city of Chiang Mai.

The Hedaytul Islam Mosque, near the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, is one of the biggest mosques in the province, and also one of the seven mosques in Chiang Mai, Thailand, founded by Chinese migrants. Baan Haw Mosque is situated 3½ km west of Ban Buak Khrok Noi.
