The Citadel of Cairo or Citadel of Saladin is a medieval Islamic-era fortification in Cairo, Egypt. Its construction was begun by Salah ad-Din in 1176 and continued by subsequent Egyptian rulers. Saladin Citadel of Cairo is situated 1 km north of Masjid wa ‘Iyādat al Abājīyah.

The Lulua Mosque or al-Lu'lu'a Mosque is a mosque in the Muqattam Hills that surround Cairo, Egypt. Built during the reign of the third Fatimid caliph, al-Hakim, in the Fatimid architectural style, the mosque was completed in c. 1016 CE. Al-Lu’lu’a Mosque is situated 410 metres southeast of Masjid wa ‘Iyādat al Abājīyah.
