Al-Azhar Mosque, known in Egypt simply as al-Azhar, is a mosque in the historic Islamic core of the city of Cairo, Egypt. Commissioned as the new capital of the Fatimid Caliphate in 970 CE, it was the first mosque established in a city that eventually earned the nickname "the City of a Thousand Minarets". Al-Azhar Mosque is situated 660 metres southeast of Masjid al Qāḑī Barakat.

The Museum of Islamic Art is a museum in Cairo, Egypt. The museum has a collection of rare woodwork and plaster artefacts, as well as metal, ceramic, glass, crystal, and textile objects of all periods, from all over the Islamic world. Museum of Islamic Art is situated 640 metres southwest of Masjid al Qāḑī Barakat.

The al-Hussein Mosque is a mosque and mausoleum, located near the Khan el-Khalili bazaar in Cairo, Egypt. Containing the tomb of Husayn ibn Ali that was originally built in 1154, the mosque and mausoleum were reconstructed in 1874. Hussein Mosque is situated 610 metres east of Masjid al Qāḑī Barakat.
