The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, commonly known as the Egyptian Museum and also called the Cairo Museum or the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, is the Egyptological museum which houses the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world, including over 170,000 items. Egyptian Museum is situated 1¼ km southwest of Jarīdat al Jumhūrīyah wa al Masā’.

Ramses Railway Station, also called Misr Station, is the main railway station of Cairo, Egypt. The name is derived from the Ancient Egyptian pharaoh Ramses II, whose statue was erected by former Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser on the square there in 1955. Ramses Railway Station is situated 800 metres north of Jarīdat al Jumhūrīyah wa al Masā’.
