The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, commonly known as the Egyptian Museum and also called the Cairo Museum or the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, is the Egyptological museum which houses the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world, including over 170,000 items. Egyptian Museum is situated 500 metres south of Wizārat al I‘lām.

The Cairo Tower is a free-standing concrete tower in Cairo, Egypt. At 187 m, it was the tallest structure in Egypt for 37 years until 1998, when it was surpassed by the Suez Canal overhead powerline crossing. Cairo Tower is situated 1 km southwest of Wizārat al I‘lām.
