The Çankaya Mansion is the official residence of the vice president of Turkey and previously the official residence of the president of Turkey from 1923 to 2014. Presidency of the Republic of Turkey is situated 2½ km east of Sokullu Mehmet Paşa.

Anıtkabir

Anıtkabir is a complex located in the Çankaya district of Ankara that contains the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Designed by Emin Onat and Orhan Arda, construction of Anıtkabir began in 1944 and was completed in 1953. Anıtkabir is situated 3½ km north of Sokullu Mehmet Paşa.

Çankaya is a municipality and district of Ankara Province, Turkey. Its area is 483 km2, and its population is 942,553. It is home to many government buildings, including the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, as well as nearly all foreign embassies to Turkey.

Kızılay is the city center of Ankara Province in the municipality and district of Çankaya, Turkey. Its population is 1,311. It is named after the Kızılay Derneği whose former headquarters was located at the Kızılay Square. Kızılay is situated 3½ km northeast of Sokullu Mehmet Paşa.
