Udipur is a town and market place at Besishahar Municipality in Lamjung District in the Gandaki Zone of northern-central Nepal. The Besishahar Municipality was formed by merging the existing Village Development Committees i.e. Udipur is situated 3 km east of Gahatelek.

Bhotewodar, one of the main cities of Lamjung District. Which is identified as the gateway of East Lamjung lies in the Gandaki zone, Nepal. It was named as Bhotewodar as there was a cave in this place where Bhotes used to take shelter during the winter time and used to sell their goods. Bhotewodar is situated 4½ km southeast of Gahatelek.
