Ratmate is a ward under Belkotgadhi Municipality but was village development committee in Nuwakot District in the Bagmati Province of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2997 people living in 567 individual households. Ratmate is situated 4 km west of Churantar.

Bidur is the capital of Nuwakot District in Bagmati Province, Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 18694 and had 3736 houses in it. In February 2008, terrorists damaged the town's water supply plant. Bidur is situated 6 km northeast of Churantar.
