Kataiya is a village development committee in the central part of Saptari in the Sagarmatha Zone of south-eastern part of Nepal. This VDC is about 5 km south of Rupani bazaar, a bazaar through which the East-West Highway passes and about 15 km north of Indo-Nepal border.

Patthargada is a village development committee in Saptari District in the Sagarmatha Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3992 people living in 755 individual households. Patthargada is situated 3 km southwest of Narahaiya.

Basbalpur is a market center and town in Sambhunath Municipality in Saptari District in the Sagarmatha Zone of south-eastern Nepal. The formerly VDC was merged along with Khoksar Parbaha, Sambhunath, Mohanpur, Bhangha and Rampur Jamuwa village development committee new municipality was formed on 18 May 2014. Basbalpur is situated 3½ km west of Narahaiya.
