Salempur is a village development committee in Sarlahi District of Province No.2 in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census, it had a population of 5,252 people living in 876 individual households.There have more than 110 Houses of Muslim communities.Two Madarsa, First Madrasa Azahari in Ward No.- Type: Locality with 8,120 residents
