The Caritas Baby Hospital is the only purely pediatric hospital in the Palestinian territories. It falls into the jurisdiction of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and is sustained by the Catholic non-profit organizations Kinderhilfe Bethlehem and Aiuto Bambini Betlemme in Switzerland, Germany and Italy. Caritas Baby Hospital is situated 440 metres south of Ma‘bar Rāḩīl.
