Mount Lofty Botanic Garden

First opened in 1977, the crescent-shaped Mount Lofty Botanic Garden is situated on 100 hectares on the eastern slopes of Mount Lofty in the Adelaide Hills east of Adelaide in South Australia. Mount Lofty Botanic Garden is situated 2½ km west of Mount Lofty Golf Course.

Mount Lofty is the highest point in the southern Mount Lofty Ranges. It is located about 15 km east of the Adelaide city centre, within the Cleland National Park in the Adelaide Hills area of South Australia. Mount Lofty is situated 3½ km northwest of Mount Lofty Golf Course.

Raywood, formerly named Arbury Park, is a property in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. The 17-room Georgian-style house was constructed in 1935 to designs by Kenneth Milne for noted South Australian and Federal politician, Sir Alexander Downer, who built the house and developed the formal garden as a setting akin to an English estate.
