Azure Window

The Azure Window, also known as the Dwejra Window, was a 28-metre-tall natural arch on the island of Gozo, located just off the shores of Malta. The limestone feature, which was in Dwejra Bay close to the Inland Sea and Fungus Rock, was one of the island's major tourist attractions until it collapsed in stormy weather on 8 March 2017.

Fungus Rock, sometimes known as Mushroom Rock, and among the Maltese as Il-Ġebla tal-Ġeneral, is a small islet in the form of a 60-metre-high massive lump of limestone at the entrance to an almost circular black lagoon in Dwejra, on the coast of Gozo, itself an island in the Maltese archipelago.

The Inland Sea, sometimes called Il-Qawra in Maltese and also known as Dwejra, is a lagoon of seawater on the island of Gozo linked to the Mediterranean Sea through an opening formed by a narrow natural arch.

Xlendi

Xlendi is a town on Gozo's south coast. Formerly a picture perfect Mediterranean fishing village, it has now been expanded to several times its old size by modern hotels and apartments.

Victoria, also called Rabat is in Gozo. It should not be confused with another town called Rabat on the main island of Malta.

Xaghra

Xagħra is in Gozo. It's an attractive village of 4,900 people that houses the Ġgantija temples, and is a 5-minute drive or a 30-minute walk to Ramla i Hamra beach and to Rabat, so if you don't have too much time to explore the island, this is a good place to use as a base.
