Llyn Alaw

Llyn Alaw is a man-made reservoir on Anglesey, North Wales, managed by Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. It is a shallow lake and was built in 1966. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a destination for overwintering birds. Llyn Alaw is situated 2 miles southwest of Rhosgoch.

Originally known as Trysclwyn, the high ground is reputed to have gained its current name when it was given to Robert Parys, Chamberlain of North Wales by Henry IV. Parys Mountain is situated 2½ miles east of Rhosgoch.
