Taray District

Hatun Pukara

Hatun Pukara is a mountain in the Andes of Peru, about 4,000 metres high. It is located in the Cusco Region, Calca Province, on the border of the districts of Coya and Taray, southwest of Taray. It lies south of the Willkanuta River.

Ñust'apata "princess bank") is a mountain in the Cusco Region in Peru, about 4,000 metres high. It is situated in the Calca Province, on the border of the districts of Pisac and Taray. Ñust’apata is situated 3½ km northeast of Taray District.
Pillku Urqu

Pillku Urqu, also known as Pikul, Piqul or Wayna Piqul, is a 4,448-metre-high mountain in the Andes of Peru, near the city of Cusco. It is situated in the Cusco Region, Calca Province, Taray District, and in the Cusco Province, San Jerónimo District, north of San Jerónimo. Pillku Urqu is situated 4 km south of Taray District.

Pisac

Písac is a small traditional town at eastern end of the Sacred Valley about 35 km from Cusco. While Pisac is best known for its Sunday market this is really secondary to the magnificent Inca ruins overlooking the town from high on a mountain ridge, both the extent of which and the spectacular vertiginous views it offers of the Sacred Valley many visitors arrive unprepared for.
