Dasharath Rangasala

Dasharath Rangasala is a multi-purpose stadium in Tripureshwar, Kathmandu. It is named after Dasharath Chand, one of the four great martyrs of Nepal. The stadium is used mostly for football matches and cultural programmes. Dasharath Rangasala is situated 3 km northeast of Tribuvan University.

Swayambhunath

Swayambhunath is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. The Tibetan and Sanskrit name for the site means 'self-arising' or 'self-sprung'. Swayambhunath is situated 3½ km north of Tribuvan University.

The Central Zoo is a 6-hectare zoo in Jawalakhel, Nepal. It is home to some 969 animals in 109 species, and is operated by the National Trust for Nature Conservation. Central Zoo is situated 2½ km southeast of Tribuvan University.
