The Gdańsk Bridge is a six-span steel truss bridge, 406.5 m long and 17 m wide, across the Vistula in Warsaw, Poland. It opened on 31 July 1959 after three years of construction.

The Citadel Rail Bridge was a bridge in Warsaw, crossing the Vistula River. It opened in November, 1875, and was expanded with a second part in 1908. It was blown up for the final time on September 13, 1944, by retreating Germans and was later replaced with the Gdański Bridge.

Muzeum Katyńskie w Warszawie is a museum in Warsaw, Poland. The museum was established in 1993. It is located in the Polish Army Museum. Objects, documents and personal effects from the site of the Katyn massacre can be seen in the museum. Katyń Museum is situated 310 metres west of Gdański, bridge.

The Old Town is comparatively small to the old towns of many other European cities, as during the time of its development Warsaw was a small town of mostly local importance and not yet the capital of Poland.

Mariensztat is a historic neighbourhood along the Vistula river in central Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Situated between the riverbank and the UNESCO-protected Old Town, Mariensztat is part of the larger Śródmieście borough and is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods.
