Ivanhoe is a small service centre town of 162 in the Far West region of Outback New South Wales. If you end up finding yourself in Ivanhoe, you're likely there for two reasons – one, you need somewhere to stop along the Cobb Highway, or two, you're there for about 10 minutes or so stretching your legs as you take a break from the weekly Outback XPL train between Broken Hill and Sydney.
