The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is a large museum located in Old Cairo, a district of Cairo, Egypt. Partially opened in 2017, the museum was officially inaugurated on 3 April 2021, with the moving of 22 mummies, including 18 kings and four queens, from the Egyptian Museum in central Cairo, in an event termed the Pharaohs' Golden Parade. National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is situated 1 km west of Mausoleum of Fakhr al-Farisi.

The Mausoleum of Imam al-Shafi'i is a mausoleum dedicated to al-Shafi'i, founder of the homonymous school of Sunni Islamic jurisprudence. Located at the Imam Shafi'i Street in the City of the Dead, Cairo, the mausoleum is a hallmark of Ayyubid style architecture and historical significance. Mausoleum of Imam al-Shafi’i is situated 630 metres north of Mausoleum of Fakhr al-Farisi.

Al-Lu’lu’a Mosque

The Lulua Mosque or al-Lu'lu'a Mosque is a mosque in the Muqattam Hills that surround Cairo, Egypt. Built during the reign of the third Fatimid caliph, al-Hakim, in the Fatimid architectural style, the mosque was completed in c. 1016 CE. Al-Lu’lu’a Mosque is situated 1½ km northeast of Mausoleum of Fakhr al-Farisi.

It is known for its traditional restaurants, it also has the Qal'at al-Kabsh neighbourhood, which is one of the famous areas in the district, and the Ibn Tulun Mosque. Sayyidah Zainab District is situated 3 km northwest of Mausoleum of Fakhr al-Farisi.
