Gabbin is a small town in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. The townsite originally served as a railway station for the Wyalkatchem to Mount Marshall line that was constructed through the area in 1913. Gabbin is situated 9 km east of Narkal.

Koorda is a town in the north eastern Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, approximately 236 kilometres east of Perth and 43 kilometres north of Wyalkatchem at the northeastern end of the Cowcowing Lakes. Koorda is situated 10 km west of Narkal.
