Taunton is a locality in the Eden Valley between Springton and Eden Valley in South Australia. It was originally created as a private subdivision of sections 560, 561, 568 and 569 in the Hundred of Jutland.

Springton is a settlement in South Australia. It draws its name from Springs Dairy which was on the site before the town subdivision was surveyed. There is a large hollow red gum tree on the outskirts of the town. Springton is situated 3 km southeast of Yamba.
