Richmond Oval is an Australian rules football oval in Richmond, a western suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It has been the home of South Australian National Football League club West Adelaide for training since 1956 and home games since 1958. Richmond Oval is situated 290 metres north of Richmond Railway Station.

Marleston is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, in the City of West Torrens. Marleston was home to 1,950 people at the 2021 census. The earliest European settler in this area was Donald McLean, who selected Section 50, Hundred of Adelaide, of 80 acres in 1837, and with his family ploughed and sowed 20 acres of seed wheat, and in 1838 reaped the first harvest of wheat in South Australia.
