Clackline is a village in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, with a population of 330 in 2021. No-one has any idea how its name came about. It grew up at a railway junction, where the Eastern Railway from Perth to Northam had a spur to Toodyay, but the railway was re-routed in 1966.

Bakers Hill is a town 73 kilometres east of Perth, Western Australia on the Great Eastern Highway. The town is located within the Shire of Northam, between Wundowie and Clackline. At the 2021 census, Bakers Hill had a population of 1276. Bakers Hill is situated 7 km southwest of Clackline Well.
