Gilgandra is a town of a little over 3,000 in the Central West region of New South Wales. It sits at the crossroads of the Newell Highway, a major road corridor betweel Melbourne and Brisbane, and Castlereagh Highway, the main connectors between Lithgow and northwestern New South Wales.
