Debeli Rtič is a cape in the northern Adriatic Sea on the border between Slovenia and Italy. It is located north-west of the Slovenian town of Ankaran, and west of the Italian town of Muggia. The name literally means 'Thick Little Cape'. Debeli Rtič is situated 2½ km southwest of Boa.

The Basilica of Saint Mary of the Assumption is the parish church of Muggia Vecchia, in Muggia, near Trieste, Italy. In the past it was believed that the town of Muggia Vecchia had ceased to be inhabited after its destruction by the Genoese of Pagano Doria in 1353.
