Baghdad International Airport, previously known as Saddam International Airport, is an international airport serving Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. It is Iraq's largest international airport, located in a suburb about 16 km west of downtown Baghdad in the Baghdad Governorate. Baghdad International Airport is situated 4½ km west of Karkh.
