The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica or simply Sacré-Cœur, is a Catholic church and minor basilica in Paris dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Sacré-Cœur Basilica is situated 530 metres northwest of Nation Montmartre.

Barbès–Rochechouart is a station on Line 2 and Line 4 of the Paris Métro. Situated at the location where the 9th, 10th and 18th arrondissements all share a border point, the station is at the junction of Boulevard Barbès, named for the revolutionary Armand Barbès, the Boulevard de Rochechouart, named for the abbess, Marguerite de Rochechouart, Boulevard de la Chapelle and Boulevard de Magenta.

Montmartre is a large hill in Paris' northern 18th arrondissement. It is 130 m high and gives its name to the surrounding district, part of the Right Bank.

The 18th arrondissement of Paris is probably best known for the hill of Montmartre which was the centre of the Communard uprising of the late-nineteenth century, but is also perhaps better known as the centre of the flourishing artist community of the period from around 1907-1914.
